Austin, i've talked about this before, but i think we should do a childhood thing in the beginning. and have it be the day before you move, you can only go in the backyard, you have one pokeball, there are 3 patches of grass with a sign in front of them that have the pokemons name on it and they have a 100% catch rate. good?

That would require too much complicaated scripting, maby later down the road when i am able to figure that stuff out it would be possable, but for now its just gonna be pritty much a reskinned fire red.

This actually sounds like a really good start for the story when we start making it our own game and not a reskin

yah but the "moving day" thing has already been done, we could try changing it, cause i would like to make our own from scratch too

yeah I agree about the moving day thing, but I do like the idea of a story about finding your starter before you arrive on the island.
